If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old

My career started 12 years ago with an international bank where I contributed towards implementing an international trade finance application to 26 different countries globally. Additionally, I also contributed towards successful in-sourcing of 3 large FI clients onto the trade finance platform. During this period, I obtained a deep understanding of Trade Finance products, processes and it’s unique challenges. I also had the privilege to be part of international project teams based in multiple geographies, time-zones and cultures, that inspired me to relocate internationally to the Netherlands in 2011.

There has been numerous challenges in this period that helped me groom my skills & competencies. With the acquisition of ABN AMRO by RBS, I got the unique opportunity to be a key contributor, as business analyst, for the biggest Separation & Integration program in financial services industry. With ever changing economic, technology, compliance & regulatory landscape, the financial services industry is constantly undergoing change and it is critical for the organizations and their workforce to adapt to these changes in order to stay relevant and deliver better service to their clients.

As Consultant, I believe that my experience in implementation and support of trade finance applications will be of added value to our clients while they embark on the journey of technology and process transformations. Learning is a continuous process and I look forward to improving my knowledge and mastering new skills by taking on new challenges.
